Biography: Thomas Christian
Thomas Christian, from the United States, was elected to the Tunza Youth Advisory Council of UNEP on 30 August 2007.
He is a Regional Director for 2020 Vision – a United States non-profit organization that focuses on energy security, oil addiction and climate change, with whom he organizes events and raises awareness in Georgia and the Southeastern United States. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia and attends the Georgia Institute of Technology where he recently co-founded the Environmental Alliance at Georgia Institute of Technology - the only environmental student organization on the Georgia Institute of Technology's campus.
He personally wants to learn as much as possible about what technology can do for the world in terms of making his community and region more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. He is extremily interested in working on improving environmentally friendly technology transfer from developed nations to under-developed, developing nations.
Thomas was born on 15 May 1987. He likes playing and watching tennis, American football, basketball and soccer. He also likes jazz music and enjoys spending time with his friends.
